An Ebola outbreak has been declared in Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).

Right now, Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) is one of the very few organizations with medical and logistical teams in DRC. Our teams are shipping supplies and working with the Congolese health authorities to respond to this outbreak.

MSF’s largest programs are in DRC. And over the past few decades, MSF has responded to multiple Ebola disease outbreaks in the country and elsewhere. MSF has extensive expertise in treating and containing the virus.

MSF rarely asks for earmarked funding for specific emergencies. But today, we’ve chosen to launch an Ebola crisis fund to respond to this emergency at the speed and scale it demands.

People’s medical needs are far outpacing the international community’s humanitarian response. MSF’s Ebola crisis fund will enable us to rapidly scale up our operations without drawing critical resources away from our other essential projects around the world.

Please make a gift to our Ebola crisis fund and help us reach our goal of $500,000. DRC is MSF's largest country of operation. By giving today, you’ll help our teams respond to people's immense humanitarian needs and provide care to those in urgent need of emergency healthcare.

Our minimum donation amount is $10
