Hello everyone!
Welcome to Old Scona Academic's annual IGNITE-A-THON, a school-wide fundraiser in support of Doctors Without Borders / Médecins Sans Frontières. Our mission is to engage Old Scona students in leadership, citizenship, and service to benefit the larger Edmonton community. The Students' Union ensures that our initiative is crafted to benefit the community; however, the participation of our students, families, friends, and communities will ensure our campaign's success.
We are committed to serving our community, and we take pride in showcasing the leadership and citizenship ingrained in our OSA family. DWB is an independent emergency medical humanitarian organization that has more than 40,000 staff members working in humanitarian crises in close to 70 countries. Right now, DWB medical teams are saving lives all over the world. DWB would not be able to make such a difference in the lives of people caught in crises without the generosity of individual donors.
We have decided to support DWB, and we are counting on you to help us reach our fundraising goal of $10 000. Each donation counts. Together, we can help alleviate suffering and change lives. Your generosity allows DWB teams to continue saving lives by delivering urgent care to people made vulnerable by disaster, conflict, disease or exclusion from healthcare.
