Hello!
My name is Nicole Qin, co-captain of Old Scona Academic's Ignite-A-Thon team Vegan Chicken Banana Nuggets (...it's 100% a legit name I promise- We're serious about fundraising-). I am writing this on behalf of my team members, which is comprised of 10 individuals aspiring to fundraise to create a positive change internationally and contribute to a better cause. Welcome to our page!
Here is a quick introduction to all of our team members, all students whom are in grade 10:

We are dedicated to serving our community and work towards a better cause. Hand in hand, our team is hoping to support this year's charity of choice, Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) assist in their work. MSF is an independent emergency medical humanitarian organization working in humanitarian crises in 70 countries. Current MSF medical teams are saving lives all over the world, and they would not be able to make such a difference in the lives of people caught in crises without the generosity of individual donors.
This is why we are asking for your consideration as the Edmonton community to help support our cause to make the world a better and safer place. There are a variety methods, both online and physically, that you can work together with us, including:
Purchasing art commissions from us
Bottle drive donations
Thank you all so much for your consideration on this matter - it means so much to us. Every penny and donation counts, no matter how large or small it is. Your generosity allows MSF teams to continue saving lives by delivering urgent care to people made vulnerable by disaster, conflict, disease or exclusion from healthcare.
